Ready for a guiding light who can tackle complex situations and help you cope and thrive?

In addition to the typical counseling skills, I work from a Cognitive Behavioral Model which allows you to discover patterns and thoughts that are not serving you. Together, will replace old patterns with chosen new ones. As an Advanced Practitioner in Mind-Body Skills, you will learn ways to be more in touch with your body’s signals for help. My tool kit will help you process past or present scary or painful events. As you release emotions you will become empowered with the tools for healing.

My style has been described as practical and down-to-earth. I am also resourceful, which means you can count on me to help you discover what other tools and services might provide further support. With my background as a teacher, I can help you learn new skills step by step. I don’t set the pace or the agenda. You are an adult, and I believe you know what you need, especially if given a space that allows you to explore without judgment.
